SOME HIGHTLIGHTS Our AGA this year will be scheduled for 2 days. Alot has been happening from 3 years of audits, constitution updates to three new projects starting... 3 of our newest projects will be doing an introduction and given all the details on the upcoming events along with more details on our new Raffle Box Draws. This year AWAPEI has created a MMIWG video that compliments the MMIWG portrait that has been hung at the Confederation Centre. Due to renovations, the portrait is in storage. With that said, at this upcoming AGA AWAPEI will be launching it's first viewing of the video. Due to Fiona, our Sisters in Spirit Vigil was canceled due to venues dealing with damages and for safety but at our AGA, AWAPEI will be allocating time during our AGA to remember our sisters in spirit. Lastly, this is our election year. Positions available President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, 2 East Board Reps, 2 West Board Reps, along with appointing an Elder and a Youth. It was a very pleasing 2-day AWAPEI AGA. Seeing you all gather with us is always an enlightening day. I do hope you all enjoyed this time together, while at the same time getting so much business completed. Leave a Reply. |
